To produce our web series about grandparents raising their grandchildren, i.e. Grandfamilies, we need your help!
We are looking to cast everyday granddaughters and grandmothers who are living together to be a part of our project!
Unlike the TV and web content that we are exposed to on a daily basis, we want to create a show that will shed light on a community of people overlooked in media. A community that consists of thousands of people across the U.S.: Grandparents Raising Their Grandchildren.
We hope to raise awareness and show the daily struggles and strengths of both granddaughters and granddaughters who rise against all the challenges and risks that comes with raising children without the help and presence of the mother and father.
This is a platform dedicated to sharing your stories and giving a voice to the everyday “Grandfamily.”
